Enhancing Employee Experience was a collaborative initiative between adidas MakerLab and the Interaction Design Master's program at SUPSI, aimed at reimagining employee engagement through service design and emerging technologies. I facilitated this partnership end-to-end, shaping a co-design framework that centered real employee voices and needs. The project brief, co-developed with a SUPSI mentor, challenged students to design intelligent solutions for onboarding and long-term engagement at adidas. Over seven weeks, students applied user research and UX/UI methodologies, producing four thoughtful prototypes—two focused on onboarding, two on sustained engagement. Unlike typical academic collaborations, this project stood out for its deep involvement of adidas employees, who participated as interviewees, mentors, and reviewers. Their presence grounded the concepts in real-world complexity and created a mutually enriching exchange. The initiative not only yielded fresh HR perspectives but also demonstrated the value of open innovation between industry and academia.
